While Diddy is in custody, rapper 50 Cent said he is making a documentary about the sex scandal of this male singer who has won 3 Grammy Awards. On September 25, the representative of the In Da Club singer confirmed the above information to PEOPLE.
“The content of the film has an impact on many people and is a complex story that has lasted for decades, not simply the news headlines or clips released up to this point… Although the allegations are very disturbing, we want everyone to remember that Sean Combs’s story is not the whole story of hip hop culture,” the representative of the producer shared in a statement sent to PEOPLE.

Netflix revealed that a Diddy movie project has been in the works since the beginning of the year but has yet to set a release date. In May, Deadline reported that 50 Cent confirmed that Netflix had won the battle for the rights to produce a Diddy movie.

The rapper has never been shy about expressing his displeasure with Diddy. In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter on July 31, 50 Cent shared the reason why he has not attended any of Diddy’s parties for many years because in the past, Diddy has made 50 Cent feel uncomfortable.

A few hours ago, 50 Cent posted a photo of a Variety headline reporting that he was making a movie about Diddy, sharing: “I told you I don’t attend Diddy’s parties and you didn’t believe me. Now I’m going to make you believe me.”

Diddy, the hip-hop mogul, was arrested at a Manhattan hotel a day before the 55-year-old rapper was indicted on charges of sex trafficking for hosting sex parties that included celebrities. Diddy is currently being held in a Brooklyn detention center after being denied bail twice. The rapper is scheduled to appear in court in early October.
